Margaret Lowe Obituary

“I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith. 8 Now there is in store for me the crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous Judge, will award to me on that day-and not only to me, but also to all who have longed for his appearing.”                       2 Timothy 4, 7-8

Margaret Ann (Lee) Lowe was born January 23, 1945, to the late Fred Lee, and Sallie Downs. On Friday March 25, 2022, she answered the call to eternal peace.

Margaret at an early age accepted Christ. She spent her life caring, mentoring and sharing the gospel of God’s promises to the faithful. She never met a stranger, and her genuine smile gave a sense of comfort as she shared faith and love of biblical and spiritual teachings.

Margaret attended public schools in Detroit, Michigan. She was a proud graduate of Mackenzie High School. Margaret’s love for helping others was evident in her career choice. She pursued her nursing license and worked as a Registered Nurse in geriatrics and with people with special needs for nearly 50 years. Margaret spent countless hours doing the Lord’s work with Outreach Ministries and volunteered in shelters.

Margaret loved to enjoy life. She enjoyed traveling and meeting people. She enjoyed spending time with her close friends and her Red Hat club. She made you feel comfortable. Margaret believed that everyone should receive flowers here on earth and laugh, live and be happy. She loved all types of music and loved dancing. Her most treasured are her children and grandchildren.
