Lillian McDowell Scriber was born to Fannie Seibles and Joshua McDowell on July 25, 1948 in Baltimore, Maryland. She attended Douglas High School and graduated from the Baltimore Maryland Business School. Lillian worked as a CNA. She later worked as a Sous Chef for the U. S. Army. Lillian was a very skilled woman. She worked at Wynn Army Hospital on Fort Steward, GA. The she became a home health care aid. Her last place of employment was Chase Cleaning Service in Hinesville, Georgia. She was baptized and a member of New Beginnings Church in Ludowici, GA. She was loved by many. Lillian was preceded in death by her father, Joshua McDowell and grandson, Erik Marquise Young. She leaves to cherish her memory her daughters: Marshia Young Thweatt (Brennan), Natasha Scriber (Quintus McLaurin and Charlotte Gary; mother: Fannie Seibles; brothers: Joshua McDowell, Jr., Walter McDowell (Toosie) and Edward Prince (Carol); sister: Lillian Wilson; grandchildren: Ayrika Young, Brennan Thweatt, Aatika Thweatt, Kel and Nika; uncle: Honey from Columbus, SC, ex-husband: Robert Scriber; good friends: Mrs. Anita Faison, Ms. Chris Rodgers and Mrs. Mateldia Rodgers; two nieces, one nephew and a host of cousins and friends.
