Lawrence(Larry) Jayne Obituary

Lawrence ( Larry) Edgar Jayne was born on December 23, 1944 in Houston,Texas to the late Mr. Samuel Earl Jayne and Mrs. Jodie Vee Driskell. 
He attended Inez Carroll Elementary School and graduated from Aldine High School in Houston, Texas. He attended college and graduated from the University of Houston Texas where he enjoyed playing football. 
After college, Lawrence  joined the U. S. Army where he served in the Signal Corps in assignments stateside and in Korea.  
After his tours in the Army, Lawrence worked as a Professional Engineering Consultant for many years. His expert knowledge on environmental matters and his excellent consulting skills took him nationwide to visit many industrial sites to discuss Air Quality, Health & Safety and Water Resources.
Lawrence served as Vice President of TriHydro Cooperation in Laramie, Wyoming. His firm was known as one of the top engineering and remediation firms in the U.S. because of its safety programs and quality of work. He was known for his vast knowledge and commitment to environmental sustainability and often travelled and provided consulting work in countries including Belize, Canada and China. 
Lawrence was known for his kind heart, his love of country music, and a remarkable sense of humor. He also enjoyed exploring historical artifacts, had a passion for seasonal hunting and enjoyed watching all college football games. 
Lawrence leaves to cherish his memories his life long companion, Rear Admiral Annie B. Andrews, U.S. Navy (Retired) of Alexandria, Virginia his life long family friends, Lorenzo and Deborah Andrews Dawson Hinesville, Georgia. He is proceeded in death by a brother Jodie Earl Jayne and a sister, Linda Scharff.  He is survived by his brother Russell Eugene Jayne and his wife, Beverly, neice, Amanda Jayne Burks, and her husband Ronald, and their daughter Harley, a niece, Lori LaVelle of Bucerias, Nayarit, Mexico, and a loving nephew, DeAngelo Andrew Dawson.
