Lawrence D. Carter III passed away early Monday morning at home. He was born in Savannah, Georgia on January 14, 1987 to his loving motherTammie R. Carter and loving father Lawrence Carter Jr. He was affectionately known as Lil Jr., Lil Man, Lil Hookie, Dee Jay and Bubba.
Lawrence Joined New Zion Baptist Church early on in his life. He was educated in the Liberty County School System.
At an early age he found his love for logging working alongside his dad and late grandfather at Carter Logging. From there he went on to work for R B Lumber and finally at Rick’s Tree Service. He worked there until he could no longer do so. He spent the rest of his time with his loving family until God called him home.
Lawrence III leaves to cherish his loving parents Tammie and Lawrence Jr. (Midway) Grandparents John Jr. and Earnestine Roberts Brother Shyhiem (Cassie) (Midway) and Hakeem (a special cousin who was raised as a brother) (Warner Robbins). His Children Lawrence IV, Arliss, Na’Iem, Na’Sair, Na’Yhana and Joslen. His Uncle
Ron Carter (Angela) (Hinesville). His Aunts Deloris Golden (Midway), Beverly Dowers (Hinesville), Josephine Roberts (Hinesville), Deloris (Lewis) Wynn (Riceboro), JoeEtta Williams (Riceboro), Peggy Ann Carter(Andrew) (Brunswick) and a host of cousins and dear friends.
