Retired Command SGT Major Kelvin Mcleod was born on August 23, 1956, to the late Bennie C. Mcleod and Elouise Glanton Mcleod. Kelvin was a loving son, brother, husband, father, uncle, and friend. CSM
Mcleod served in the Army for 30 years and retired at Fort Stewart GA in 2004. CSM Mcleod was a highly decorated soldier with many distinguished awards, ribbons, and achievements. CSM Mcleod was not just a soldier of the US Army but also a soldier for the Army of the Lord. Kelvin served the Lord faithfully as an Elder for Different Ministries throughout his travel and took pride in sharing the Good news to all whom he encountered.
Kelvin was proceeded in death by: Dorothy Mcleod Wilfread, Mary Mcleod Hall, Nancy Mcleod, Jenett Mcleod, Benny G. Mcleod, Emmanuel Mcleod, Jackie Mcleod, Janice Mcleod, and son Jon Kelvin Mcleod.
He leaves to cherish his wife: Caren Mcleod of Orange Park, FL; Daughters: Tawaynna (Kelvin, Kevon, Elias, E’Moni), Natasha, Shakila, Shekinah (A’Niyah, Aiden), Curtina (Stefan) and children, Kiera and
children, and Taylor and children, Felicia and children, Summer and children; Sisters: Ella Louise, Kathy, and Edna; and a host of nieces, nephews, and other relatives, as well as spiritual and bonus children, also survive.
