Mrs. Karen Brown was called home on Wednesday, November 16, 2022.
Karen has been known as a person of great strength and always spoke her truth. She was determined to be there for her family, she remained positive - more positive than we could ever have asked her to be, through the years, she showed unbelievable resilience and perseverance that her children and grandchildren will carry with them for years to come. She showed those around her what strength really is. She enjoyed cooking, flowers and spending time with her family and friends. Many people would agree that the food she cooked is beyond delicious.
Karen lived a large portion of her early life in Hinesville, GA and graduated from Bradwell Institute, Hinesville, GA in 1973. She joined New Zion Baptist Church and was a dedicated member for many years.
She leaves to cherish her memory, her husband, Tim Brown, one daughter and 4 sons: Karene McCloud, Jermaine (Robin) Wynn, Isaiah (Jessica) Wynn, Edmund “Shawn” (Wanda) Wynn, and Joseph “Keith” (Amarilis) Wynn. She also leaves five siblings: Larry (Velma) Howard, Kenneth (Mavis) Howard, Troy Howard, Edna Mashel Clark, and Shelease (Jonathan) Horn and 16 Grandchildren.
