Jaylen Christopher Quarterman affectionally known as " Jay " was born on Thursday, February 25, 1993, He was the first child of his parents and grandchild to his maternal and paternal grandparents. He was dubbed "The Head Honcho" by his first cousins and was respected by them as such. Jay had many interests in his life, but saltwater fishing was his passion. His dream was to turn his passion into a business someday, fishing was instilled in him since birth and nurtured by his granddaddy, which he passed down to his children. Jaylen was a talker too, much like his granddaddy Dee Sr. and his grandma Joann, he never met a stranger; as a child he could spark up a conversation and talk to anyone about anything. He attended public school in Liberty and Long County and also Turner Job Corps. Jaylen was a family man and loved all his family wholeheartedly. No matter how near or far he never missed the opportunity to spend time and interact with them. Jaylen has 5 children-his first born is Neveah born to him and Shakirra Stephens, then Zhiyon, Khiylan, Zharia, and Khamora by his lovely wife Jasmine R. McCroy (wedded November 4, 2015).
