Obituary

The Staff of Dorchester Funeral Home would like to express our sincere condolences to the family of Mrs. Inez Powell.

All praise to God, the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ. God is our merciful Father and the source of all comfort.

He comforts us in all our troubles so that we can comfort others. When they are troubled, we will be able to give them the same comfort God has given us.  2 Corinthians 1:3-4

Inez entered in Holy Matrimony to Tony Powell, Jr., on August 28, 1965. This union produced three children. She was a loving wife, proud mother and grandmother.  Inez was considered as a mother figure and a mentor to a multitude of others. She was affectionately known as “The Hat Lady”.
