Gale was born on August 12, 1957 to Leola Blake in Liberty County Georgia. She was educated in the Liberty County School System and graduated in the class of ‘75 from Bradwell Institute in Hinesville Georgia. Gale worked faithfully with the Board of Education for 28 years until her retirement. After retiring she worked with the family business until her health prevented her from continuing to work.
Gale was a very loving person. She loved her children and her grandchildren and would give them her last. Gale was and always has been a motherly figure who took care of her younger siblings, making sure everything was in order when their mother returned home from work. Gale loved to fish, and spending time with her niece Shonna.
Gale departed this earthly world on Wednesday May 17, 2023 and entered her heavenly home in glory. Gale was preceded in death by her husband Edward Abercrombie and her mother Leola Blake.
Gale leaves to cherish her memory three daughters: Angel Abercrombie – Crenshaw, Alexis (Eric) Guyton, and Ava Abercrombie; five sisters: Vickey (Julius) Stinson, Peggy (Bennie) Smiley, Lachanuse (Clayton) Geeston, Gala Darlene Rolla, and Sarah Pendleton; ten grandchildren; seven great - grandchildren; two aunts: Rosa Scott and Mary King; a Special adopted sister: Mother Kimberly Jones, and a host of nieces, nephews and cousins
