Evelena (Weezy) Louise (Williams) Singelton

Sis. Evelena Louise Williams Singleton departed this life on Friday, February 18, 2022. She was affectionately known as Louise, “Weezy”, “Lulu” or “Pie”.

Louise was born on Thursday, November 24, 1946 to Mr. & Mrs. Leroy and Evelina Roberts Williams in  Midway, formerly McIntosh, Georgia. She was educated in the Liberty County School System, graduating  from Liberty County High School, McIntosh, Georgia in 1964.

Louise worked for the Liberty County Board of Education. She retired in 2013. She was a member of New Zion Missionary Baptist Church, Riceboro, Geoorgia.

Louise was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Deacon Alexander Singleton, 3 brothers, 3 sisters. She leaves to mourn her passing: one loving and very devoted son, Eddie Waye (Philadelphia, PA.), 3 brothers- Earnest, Johnny Lee and Melvin of Midway, and 2 sisters- Annie Ruth and Jerlean of Midway, 2 godchildren; sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, nieces, nephews cousins, and friends.
