Edna Pearl Goosby

September 17, 1947 ~ October 29, 2021 (age 74)

Edna Pearl Goosby was born on September 17, 1947 to the late William R. Goosby and Irma Nulean Goosby in Cheyenne, Wyoming. Edna Pearl (Peachie) attended school in the Liberty County School System.
At an early age Peachie enjoyed going to church at Zion Temple Holiness Church of Midway, Georgia. When she moved to South Carolina, she became a member of Divine Deliverance Baptist Church in Charleston, South Carolina and loved going to church and singing with the choir. Her favorite song was Jesus On The Main Line.
Peachie was quiet, humble and loving. She loved being included in family activities, and loved watching spiritual evangelical programs. Her face would just light up as she sang with her mother (strumming on a guitar).
Edna Pearl passed away peacefully on October 29, 2021 at home in North Charleston, South Carolina. She had fought a good fight, but was ready to go to be with the Lord.
She was preceded in death by her father, William R. Goosby, her sisters: Mamie Ruth Wejuli and Mae Shirley Williams.
