Brandon Lavelle Murphy was born on January 9, 1991 in Savannah, Georgia to Iris Smith and Earl Price, Jr. He attended Liberty County Public Schools and later went on to continue his education at Pine Knot Job Corps in Pine Knot, Kentucky where he earned his high school diploma with honors and completed a trade in brick masonry in 2016. 

Brandon can be described as a quiet person, but he was also a very caring and funny person to those who knew him best. Heloved to laugh and joke around with his siblings, cousins, and close friends. He was very protective and supportive of the people he loved. Brandon was on a path toward self-improvement, striving to create a good life for himself and the family he wanted to create in the near future. He was motivated, hard-working, and was looking forward to some new and exciting things when his life was unexpectedly cut short on Thursday, February 18, 2021 at the tender age of 30. 

He leaves to cherish his memory his mother, Iris Smith (Dementris) of Baxley, GA; his father, Earl Price, Jr. of Manchester, TN; one brother, Marcal Brown of Orlando, FL; one sister, Tyreshia Murphy of Baxley, GA; three half-sisterswho he was recently forging a new relationship with, Tanisha Price of Riceboro, GA, Jocelyn Price of Hinesville, GA and Laila Price of Riceboro, GA; two uncles, Harry Murphy of Fort Worth, TX and Sixto Gomez (Tina) of Yulee, FL; one aunt, Camilla Murphy of Hinesville, GA; 4 nieces, 2 nephews, and a host of cousins and friends.
