Sis. Barbie Anne Jackson Vargas received her wings early on July 14, 2022. She was born on August 18, 1953 to the late Deacon IsaiahJackson and Sister Ernestine Gordon Jackson of Riceboro, Georgia. She was the youngest of twelve children, Four Brother proceeded her in death. She join First Zion Baptist church at an early age and accepted Christ as her lord and savior at an early age. She was a graduate of Liberty County High School class of 1971.She attended Brunswick Junior College, where she majored in the Health field of Nursing. Some of the things she enjoyed doing in her spare time was reading novels, planting flowers, but most of all she enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren, and window shopping with her daughters on weekends as well as family functions.

She was the loving mother of two daughter(s)Taisha Jackson, Lakeisha Escobar and Son in law Benjamin Escobar Jr. of Hinesville Georgia.She was an awesome grandmother of four grandsons Diamante Randall, Christopher Randall, Izayah Escobar of Hinesville Ga. Spc. Desmond Nyothoun of Fort Wainwright, Alaskaand Two bonus grandchildren Alysia and Benjamin Escobar. Four great grandchildren,Six sisters Ella mae Minniweather of RiceboroGa, Evelyn Jackson of Brooklyn NY., AlberthaAnderson of Hinesville Ga., Gladys Jackson of Brooklyn NY, Annie Craig of Ricebora Ga. and  Patricia Naraine of Hinesville Ga, A special friend Mr. William Quarterman of Walthouville, Ga. and  Host of nieces, nephews, family and friends.
