Arthur Penrod Obituary

Arthur (Art) Earl Penrod, 83, of Hinesville, GA, received his wings on November 20, 2022. Art was born on January 30, 1939 in Elnora, IN to Earl and Juanita (Hanna) Penrod. He was proceeded in death by his parents, wife of 25 years, Sharleen (League) Penrod, a sister, 2 brothers, a son-in-law, 3 step daughters and 3 grandchildren. Surviving are his 3 daughters, Becky Campbell, Lisa Head, and Teresa Cozad, all of Hinesville, GA, a step son, Terry Cozad of Hortense, GA, a son-in-law, Israel Velazquez-Pinada of Lafayette, IN, 14 grandchildren, 28 great grandchildren, and 1 great, great grandson . He proudly served in the Army National Guard for 6 years and was honorably discharged as a Sergeant in 1967. He later retired from Kraft Foods in Champaign, IL. After retiring he enjoyed watching Gunsmoke and wrestling and doing woodworking projects. He loved spending most of his time with his family and being called grandpa Santa. He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.
