Agnes Clancy entered eternal rest on November 11, 2023, at her residence surrounded by her loved ones. She was born on February 16, 1942, in Waverly, Georgia to the late Raymond! C. Smiley and Albertha Frasier Smiley. Agnes met Levern Clancy, Sr., in Midway, Georgia. They were happily married for 59 years.
Agnes accepted Christ at an early age. She was a faithful member at Pleasant Grove AME Church until her heath failed. Agnes was a great cook, she loved cooking meals for everyone. She was employed at various jobs in Midway, Georgia and Richmond Hill, Georgia as a cook until she retired. Agnes is preceded in death by her siblings, Jonathan Frasier, James Smiley, Albert Lee Pinkney, Leila Mae Carter, Lula McIver, Hattie LeCounte, and her twin Maggie Quarterman.
She leaves to cherish her memories: Her devoted husband, Levern Clancy, Sr.; one daughter, Dorothy Mae Baker of New Jersey; one son, Levern Clancy, Jr. (Cynthia) of Midway, Georgia; two grandsons Jamaine and Le'Darius Clancy, both of Midway, Georgia; one granddaughter LaKretia Clancy of Midway, Georgia. Two great granddaughters Jamira Clancy and Zcoyia Hogan both of Midway, Georgia. One sister, Helen Carter of Brooklyn, New York. Sister-in-laws Rebecca Frasier and Willie Mae Bryant (Eddie Lee) both of Midway, Georgia. Brother-in-laws Willie Gus Mclver and James Lee Quarterman, Sr. both of Midway, Georgia. A special niece Particia Roberts and caregiver, a host of nieces, nephews, and other relatives. Nancy Walls and the entire Georgia Hospice Staff.
