Obituary

Willie Mae Bryant, also affectionately known as "Dub" entered eternal rest on Thursday, May 28, 2026.  She was born November 13, 1942, in Midway, Georgia, to the late Willie Clancy, Sr. and the late Delia Bacon Clancy.

Willie Mae "Dub" was preceded in death by her parents; Willie and Delia Clancy, her brothers, Sam Bacon, Willie Jr., Arja and John Clancy; sisters, Mattie Mae Roberts, Janie Louise Smiley, Magalene andJuanita Clancy.

Willie Mae "Dub" was a graduate of the original Liberty County High School in Midway, Georgia.  A few years after graduating, she met and married the love of her life, Eddie Lee Bryant.  Their union was blessed with three children.

Willie Mae "Dub" was an active and devoted member of Midway First Presbyterian Church where she served as a Deacon and a choir member.  Willie Mae loved Singing but most of all she loved God and serving Godand others.  She also loved cooking, especially for her children and grandchildren.  She was known for making her famous potato salad, which everyone loved.

Willie Mae "Dub" is survived by her husband, Eddie Lee Bryant; daughter, Janet (Jimmie) Jones; son, Gregory (Melessa) Bryant; daughter, Tammy C. Bryant, all of Midway, Georgia; one brother, Levern Clancy, Midway, Ga.; sister-in-laws: Jewell Clancy of Seguin, Texas, Wilma (Antonio) Weaver, Michelle (Damon) Williams, Midway, Ga.; brother-in-laws, Nealy Bryant Sr. of New Haven, Connecticut, Marvin (Blandena) Bryant, Midway, Ga.; six wonderful grandchildren, Chris Screen Jr., Shane Fleming, Jamal Brooks-Lewis, Jazmine Bryant, Trevonne Bryant, and Tamia Thomas; and one great-grandchild, Graycen Sadler; a host of special nieces, special nephews, special cousins, and special friends.
