William E. Calloway, 88, passed away peacefully early Monday morning, April 14 of natural causes at his residence in Hinesville GA.

William was the widower of Lady Eloise Calloway, who passed away November 7, 2024. Born in Greenville, South Carolina, raised and educated in Augusta, Georgia, he was the son of the late Reverend Lawson Calloway and Doris (Martin) Calloway.

He retired as a master welder from Hardesty Quitner in Sinking Spring PA and the Bethany Children's Home in Womelsdorf, PA in 1987.

He was a member of the Bridge Church in Hamburg, PA and a honorary member of Mount Zion Missionary Baptist Church in Hinesville GA.

S urviving are four daughters: Pamela (Irvin) Brown of Hinesville, Deborah (William) Davis, Brenda Calloway and Linda Calloway; one son, Robert M. Calloway (Gabriella); 12 grandchildren, 23 great grandchildren; 8 great-great grandchildren; two brothers, Charles and Robert Calloway and a host of other relatives and special friends whom he loved dearly.
