Retired SSG&Tre'maine(Big Tre')ChristopherMelendez, U.S. Army, passed away on May 15, 2022 atthehomeofhis children, Lil Tre' andKynn.

Tremaine was born on January 31, 1976 to the parents ofDaniel C. and Rosalee Marshall Melendez in the small town of Pocomoke, Maryland.He joined the United States Army on August 19, 1994. Big Tre' enjoyed his time in the Military, he loved being able to travel and see the world, experience great food and provide for his family. After 23 years of service, Big Tre' decided to retire while stationed at the home of his children, Fort Stewart, Ga.

Initially he lived in Hinesville, Ga for a short time after retirement, but a great opportunity became available. Tre' was given a chance to continue working with the military at the Veterans Service Center in Columbia, South Carolina- Regional Office
