Rufus, Jr. attended school in Newark, NJ. He also entered into Job Corps and took up Culinary Arts. He later started working at Seaman Furniture, then worked at Broadway Moving Company for 23 long years, where he retired from. He didn't stop there. He moved to Hinesville, GA, in 2016, then started working for Super Walmart.
