Obituary

We regret to inform you of the passing of Mr. Ronald Deleon, born on August 31, 1986, in Brooklyn, New York, to Mr. Ronald Deleon and Ana Morel. He departed this life on Saturday, May 24, 2025, at Piedmont Atlanta Hospital.

Ron was born on August 31, 1986, in Brooklyn, New York, and from an early age, he carried a vibrant spirit and a heart full of ambition. He was a force of love, loyalty, and drive—someone who lived boldly, loved deeply, and gave his all in everything he did.

Ron was a true entrepreneur who built a name for himself through hard work and heart. He was the face of several successful businesses, including Dockside Seafood & Meats, Latin Dream, Southeast Meats & Seafood, and Walthourville Meat Market. He poured his passion into every venture, providing for his family and uplifting his community.

Ron's greatest pride and joy was his family. He was a devoted husband to Nicole and a loving father to Sean and Gianna. Everything he did was for them. His strength, sacrifices, and love will live on in their hearts forever.

To know Ron was to know a man who didn't give up, who showed up with love, and who left a lasting mark on everyone he met. He was deeply loved by his community, and that love carried him through his most difficult days.

Ron is survived by his wife Nicole and his children Sean and Gianna. He is also survived by his mother Ana Morel (Rey), his father Ronald Deleon (Rosa), his sisters Sasha Valerio (Xavier) and Stephanie Deleon, and his brother Javier Martinez (Jasmine) and special bond with his step brother Riguel Forte (Dayana), Riguel Forte Jr., "RJ". He shared a special bond with his cherished nieces, Sophia and Aubrey Valerio, who brought him endless pride and joy. He is lovingly remembered by his aunts and uncles, who helped shape the man he became and stood by him through every season of life. Ron is also remembered with love by his cousins, who were more like siblings—part of the close-knit circle that made his world feel full and family feel endless.

Ron's legacy will continue in the lives he touched and in the famous words he so often said: "I got you." Those simple words captured who he was—a man who always showed up, always gave his best, and always had your back.

A celebration of his life will be held on Sunday, June 1, 2025, at 2:30 PM at The Live Oak Church of God in Hinesville, GA.
