Obituary

Rhonda "Jackie" Dannett James Oxendinewas born on February 19,1967to Emma and the late Dan Ninkie James. Fromthe age of three,she was reared by the only fathershe knew,DeaconLewis Lowder, Sr. On Thursday, March 24, 2022, she answered our heavenly father's call to eternal reward.



During her early Christian experience, Rhonda accepted Christ as her personal Lord and Saviorand joined True Born Miracle Deliverance Center of Riceboro,GA. She was baptized and servedunder the leadership of Apostle Richard Walthour,Jr. As she traveled abroad, the Lord allowed Rhonda to receivebiblical teachings, faith enrichment, and spiritual renewal frommanybiblical scholars and spiritual leaders.



Rhonda attended the public schools inLiberty County and graduated from Bradwell Institute in 1985. She pursued a college education by attending Savannah State University and Kaplan University where she was on the president's and dean's list of honors. She obtained her Bachelor of Science in Business AdministrationfromITT Technical Institute.



She was married in holy matrimony to Isaiah Oxendine, Jr. and rearedfivechildren.



She was a very friendly person who greeted you with a welcoming smile and lots of laughter. She was very crafty with her hands, and shetook pride in makingcreativefloral arrangements, door wreaths, hairstyles, and interior decorations. Rhonda enjoyed seeing the fruit of her labor.



Rhondawas precededin death by her brother Lewis Clarence Lowder, Jr.



She leaves to cherish her memories five children: La Shawn Oxendine of New York,NY; Emmanuel Oxendine of Dothan, AL;Cornelius Oxendine ofSearcy,AK; SaraiOxendineand Shekinah Oxendine both of Ludowici, GA;aloving mother,Emma Lowder anddevoted father, Lewis Lowder of Riceboro, GA; three sisters: Felicia (Latoris) Whiteof Dothan, AL; Andrea (Charles) Gordon of Allenhurst, GA; and Lucinda White ofClifton,NJ; twobrothers:Marcus (Toboria) Lowder and Terrance (Charisse) Lowderbothof Panama City, FL;sixaunts: Daisy Jamesand Peggy James both of Riceboro, GA; Nancy James of Rochester, NY;Patricia Campbellof Bristol, GA;Matilda (Warren) Riles of Midway, GA; and Alice (Leon) Clark of Riceboro, GA; one uncle, George (Amalia) Berry of Lawrenceville, GA; a special relative, Hester Brownof Riceboro, GA; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends.


Visitation will be on Wednesday March 30, 2022 from 1-5 pm atDorchester Funeral Home.


Funeral Service will be on Thursday March 31, 2022 at 11:00 am at Dorchester Funeral Home.


Interment following the service will be at First African Bapt. Church in Riceboro, Ga.
