Reverend Bernice Wright Anderson was born on June 28, 1948, in Midway, Georgia. She departed this life on July 30, 2026, at her home in Loganville, Georgia. She was the daughter of the late Harold Wright and Effie Johnson Wright.

Reverend Anderson attended A New Spirit in Christ Ministries in Monroe, Georgia. She was a graduate of the Original Liberty County High School in McIntosh, Georgia, and retired from Signa Insurance Company in Atlanta, Georgia. In 1966, she married Reverend Arnell Anderson, and to this union three children were born.

Bernice leaves to cherish her precious and loving memories: her husband, Reverend Arnell Anderson of Loganville, Georgia; three children, Nefretiri Anderson of Illinois, Angela Anderson Bell (Ron) of Atlanta, Georgia, and Andre Anderson (Chloe) of Kansas City, Kansas; five grandchildren, Brian, Chelsea, Tyson, Zuri, and Nova; five siblings, Mary Essex (Roy) of Fort Washington, Maryland, Julia Wright of Chesapeake, Virginia, Pam Wright and Michael Wright of Midway, Georgia, and Harold Wright Jr. of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania; one uncle, Shane Johnson of Buffalo, New York; brothers-in-law, Reverend Dr. C. L. Anderson (Helen) and Carlton Anderson of Walthourville, Leon Anderson of Jacksonville, Florida, Lee Curtis Anderson (Cathey) of Covington, Georgia, and Hugh Anderson of Homerville, Georgia; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

The Homegoing Service will be held on Friday, August 7, 2026, at 11:00 A.M. at Dorchester Funeral Home in Midway, Georgia. Interment will follow at St. Luke Missionary Baptist Church Cemetery in Hinesville, Georgia.
