Reflections of Life

Nakisha Deverger was born in Hinesville, Georgia (Liberty County), to the late Ezekial Deverger Sr. and Inez Deverger. Affectionately known as "Kisha" by many who knew and loved her, she attended the Liberty County Public School System.

Kisha began working at an early age and held various positions throughout her life. One of her most enjoyable places of employment was with Sea Pines Club Group Corporation in Hilton Head Island, South Carolina.

She leaves to cherish her memory four brothers: Falbert Jones of Atlanta, Georgia; Ezekial Deverger Jr. of Cordele, Georgia; Elder David (Melvina) Deverger of Hinesville, Georgia; and Stephen Deverger of Riceboro, Georgia. She also leaves one beloved aunt, Pastor Kate Morrell of Midway, Georgia; five nieces; eleven nephews; twenty-eight great-nieces and great-nephews; along with a host of cousins and dear friends who loved and cherished her deeply.

Kisha loved and treasured her family and friends, as well as her beloved, the late Mr. Michael Barrett. Her kind spirit, love, and memories will forever remain in the hearts of those who knew her. She will be greatly missed.
