Mrs. Geneva Wilkins Jones, 91, of Riceboro, Georgia, passed away on January 18, 2026, surrounded by her family. She was born on November 6, 1934, to the late Josh Wilkins, Sr. and Annie King Wilkins. She was preceded in death by two brothers, Josh Wilkins, Jr. and Furman Wilkins.

A proud Christian woman, she was known for her warm spirit and the gentle way she treated everyone she met. In her early years, she was educated in the Liberty County School System where she graduated from the Liberty County High School. She was a loving wife, a devoted mother, and a cherished grandmother whose greatest joy was spending time with her family. Her home was always filled with love, laughter, and the presence of those she cared for deeply. She was a faithful member of True Born Church of Christ Deliverance Center, Inc. in Riceboro, Georgia. She was a dedicated employee who served Coastal Utilities/Communications with loyalty and excellence for 35 years before her retirement in 1999.

She leaves to cherish her memory, her devoted husband of 70 years, Randolph Jones, Sr.; seven children: Aundry Jones of Riceboro, GA; Randolph Jones, Jr. (Verdell) of Midway, GA; Deborah Wilson of Riceboro, GA; Ricky Jones of Riceboro, GA; Danny Jones of Jacksonville, FL; Vonciel Rena Miller (David) of Riceboro, GA and Edward Jones (Lisa) of Atlanta, GA; 17 grandchildren and 24 great-grandchildren. She is also survived by her siblings Fred Wilkins (Elmenia) of Riceboro, GA and Melvin King Sr. of Augusta, GA; sisters-in-law: Mae Bell Wilkins of Riceboro, GA; Nevie Holmes of Allenhurst, GA; Idella Welcome of Glennville, GA and Cecilla Jones of Riceboro, GA; brothers-in-law: Charlie Jones, Sr. of Riceboro, GA and Joe Neal Morris, Sr. of Riceboro, GA; and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

A Wake will be held on Sunday, January 25, from 5:00 P.M. to 7:00 P.M at True Born Church of Christ Deliverance Center, Inc. located at 1465 Peter King Road, Riceboro, GA 31323.

A Homegoing Service will be held on Monday, January 26, at 11:00 A.M. at First Zion Baptist Church located at 1642 Barrington Ferry Road in Riceboro, GA 31323.

The family has placed funeral arrangements in the care of Dorchester Funeral Home at 7842 E. Oglethorpe Hwy, Midway, GA 31320.
