Mother Janice F. Williams was called home on Sunday, March 3rd, 2024, to be with our Lord and&Savior Jesus Christ. Janice was born on October 22nd, 1946, to the late Daniel and Mabel Brickey inBig Stone Gap, Virginia. She received her education in Wise County Public School System andgraduated from James A. Bland High School. On Sept. 10, 1977, Sister Janice became a member of"Pride of Panama" Study Club, the forerunner of Geraldine C. Scales Chapter #115, O.E.S. Sister Williams was then elected President of the historic "First" class of Geraldine C. Scales Study Club. InJune of 1979, Sister Williams was elected as Worthy Matron and worked diligently and hard for theEastern Stars in Panama to make it what it is today.

After high school, Janice married her devoted husband, Earnest C. Williams Sr., on August 14, 1966.She spent 58 years happily married to the love of her life. She served 22 years as an army wife whichallowed her to see many parts of the United States and various countries around the World. As amilitary spouse, Janice was able to begin employment at the Military Commissary in Wiesbaden, Germany. In 1983, she and her family got stationed at Ft. Stewart, Georgia, where she was hiredthrough AAFES to open up a Popeyes on the base. Janice eventually became a manager and wastransferred to Fort Clayton, Panama as the assistant store manager. In 1993, Janice was promoted toStore manager of Fort Clayton Popeyes. In 1995, Janice was transferred back to Ft. Stewart, Georgiaas Store Manager.

In 1997, she received a work assignment to be a store manager for Popeye's atYokota Air Force Base in Japan. After 2 years in Japan, she decided to retire from AAFES and wasoffered a manager's position at the Popeye's in Hinesville, Georgia. Janice also played a vital role inopening the 1stKrystal in Hinesville, Georgia where she managed for several years. Her passion forfood service continued as the Food Service Manager at Frank Long Elementary for Liberty CountySchool System for Liberty County.

Janice had a strong vigor for life. Throughout her childhood and adulthood, she touched so manylives. She became a mother, sister, and confident to so many. Her son, Earnest C. Williams Jr. (BamBam), her brother, Daniel V. Brickey, sister, Diane L. Brickey, and nephew, Devin Brickey allpreceded her.

Janice leaves behind to cherish her memory her devoted and loving husband Rev. Dr. Earnest C.Williams Sr., daughters Lisa N. Williams of Ludowici, GA., Keisha (Jerry) Williams-Young ofLudowici, GA., Latorra D. Williams of Hinesville, GA., Brother Joseph (Gwen) Brickey ofMichigan, and twin sister Janet K. Brickey of Clinton, Maryland and Aunt Mary Carpenter ofKingsport, Tennesse. Grandchildren Deontee (Shawntell) Hickerson, Stasha (Montavious) Smith-Hall, Quantrell Williams,Jada Young, Jerry Young Jr., Brayden C. Williams, and Great-Grandchild Elias (JellyBean) Hall. Ahost of nieces and nephews, LaRen, Danielle, Sara, Tasha, Matt, Josh, Joseph, Kamari, Mason,Alaiya (LayLay), Passion (PayPay), Vincent (Popcorn Boy). Godchildren Joletta (Edwin) Lavant,Evangeline (Shaka) Dyson, Henry (Makeda) Patterson, Delfina Fallon.
