Mitchell Bailey, age 69, passed away peacefully on May 17, 2026. Born on July 23, 1956, in Reading, Pennsylvania, Mitchell lived a life filled with dedication, strength, and love for his family.

Mitchell was a proud graduate of Reading High School before honorably serving in the United States Army and retiring after years of dedicated service. He was a hardworking and caring man who found joy in restoring older cars, gardening, and spending time watching his favorite westerns. He was known for his wisdom, quiet strength, and the love he gave to those closest to him.

He leaves behind his beloved wife, Cheryl Bailey; his sons, Jonathan Fleming (Yumiko), Felix Bailey, and Ray Bailey; his daughter, Woneasha Bailey; his grandchildren, Shinya Fleming and Yusuke Fleming; his brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Stanley and Jenita Thomas; and his brother-in-law, Jimmy Weldon.

He also leaves behind a host of family members and friends who will cherish his memory forever.

He was preceded in death by his beloved parents, Mrs. Edith Virginia (Maxwell) Bailey and Mitchell F. Bailey Sr., and his baby sister, Diana C. Ray.

He is survived by his sister, Michele Bailey, and his brothers, David A. Bailey and Donald L. Bailey, twins of Reading, Pennsylvania.

Mitchell will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered for the life he lived and the countless memories he created with those he loved.
