Marsha Backes was a vibrant woman. Making friends wherever she went and being a mother
figure to those who needed it. Predeceased by her husband Marcel Backes (retired Army), they
traveled and spread their love to so many people. Her legacy continues through her two
children, Lovell Smith Sr. and MarShá Backes, three grandchildren, and seven great-
grandchildren. She lived a full and vivacious life to be celebrated.
