Marilyn Gail (Starks) Jones passed peacefully to the heavenly realm on Sunday, December 25, 2022 at 12:30 P.M. at home. She was born Nov 3, 1952 in Shreveport, LA to the late Mary and Charlie Starks.

She was educated in Caddo Parish Schools and her final occupation was as a cook in several local facilities.

She leaves behind to mourn her passing her husband of 40 years Michael A. Jones; her son Nathan Jones (Shay); 2 sisters (really cousins); Evelina Roberts of Texas and Linda Smith of Houston as well as a brother; Lorenzo Starks of Shreveport LA. She also leaves 3 grandchildren and a host of nieces and nephews to include Cathrine, Carla and Dwight Davis as well a host of local friends and family. She will be missed!!
