Marian Ann Hughes Phillips was born in Chicago Heights, Illinois on July&15, 1946 to the late Christine Foster. She graduated
from Cook County Public Schools, Chicago IL. She continued her education in business management while living in Brooklyn, New York.

Marian accepted Christ at an early age and was a
faithful member of Holy Ghost Tabernacle, Brooklyn NY. Upon relocating to Jesup, GA, she joined the Cathedral of Praise Church Ministries where she served on the mothers board and as an ordained elder. Marian was faithful and committed to the Lord's work until her death.

She will be lovingly remembered by her husband:
John Phillips, Rock Hill, SC; daughter: Vanessa Carr, Hinesville, GA; sons: Michael Hughes (Michelle), Astoria Queens, NY, Montel (Nadine) Phillips, Jesup, GA; sisters: Mary Lee,Atlanta, GA, Princess Stout, Atlanta, GA; brothers: Dean (Brenda) Hughes, Tuscaloosa, AL, Bishop Gregory (Stephanie) Foster, Long Island, NY; grandchildren: Ja'Shari Allen, Arianna Phillips and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, family and friends.
