Margaret Ann Blume was born on March 19, 1948, in Philadelphia, PA to the parents of Robert H. Weary and Inez Frazier. She was the youngest daughter of the two. Her older sister is Alice Davis. Margaret was raised in the North Philly
section of city at 923 Edgely Street. She attended public schools under the name Margaret Weary graduating from William Penn High School in 1966. After graduating high school, Margaret attended Community College of Philadelphia where she majored in accounting. During her time at CCP, she met and dated her husband Walter Blume and the two married in 1969. In the 1980's Margaret left Philadelphia and moved to California where she lived for years prior to moving to Georgia to be closer to family.
She is remembered as someone who touched the lives of those she met including during her time as a parishioner at St. James Church and as a resident at Riverview Health & Rehab Center. Margaret was a prayer warrior and will surely be missed by those whose life she touched as well as those who were blessed to know her. She is survived by her sister Alice Davis, nieces & nephew LaMore, Dolly and Todd Davis as well as great nieces and nephews, Zuri, Yael, Moriyah, Aiden and Nahziyr.
