In Loving Memory of Ms. Magdalene Brown
Sunrise: July 15, 1950 — Sunset: October 2, 2026
Ms. Magdalene Brown, a beloved mother, grandmother, sister, and faithful servant of God, transitioned peacefully on October 2, 2026.
Born Magdalene Davis on July 15, 1950, in Valdosta, Georgia, she was the cherished daughter of the late Moses Davis Sr. and Hazel L. Davis.
She grew up in a close-knit and loving family as the fourth of five children, preceded in death by her dear sisters, Vera Lee Davis and Johnnie Mae Jones, she is survived by her beloved brothers, Moses Davis Jr. and James E. Davis.
Magdalene built a life rooted in deep Christian faith, unwavering love, and dedication to her family. As a devoted daughter, sister, and wife, she shared 48 wonderful years of marriage with her late husband, Gerald A. Brown, before his passing. Together, they created a warm and nurturing home.
Magdalene was a proud and loving mother to her daughters, Tamora Brown and Antoinette Heath, and her stepson, Tony Brown.
Her love extended deeply to her grandchildren—Ebony Smith, Katrina Lawton, Micheal Lawton Jr., Bryanna Lawton, Ka’Mesha Brown, Kamora Brown, Kamya Brown, and Kamyrn Brown—as well as her great-grandchildren, Kamari McBride and Kayden Brown, all of whom brought immense joy to her life.
Spiritually grounded and active in her walk with Christ, Magdalene was a dedicated member of the Abraham Church of God under the spiritual guidance of Pastor Ethel Miller.
Her co-laborers in Christ, alongside a vast host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends, will forever remember her love , laughter and vibrant spirit, kindness, and steadfast devotion to her faith.
Magdalene is in heaven now, and her soul is at rest. Though she will be dearly missed, her love and legacy live on through all who knew and cherished her.
“We are her legacy, and we will see her again.”
