Ludlow Anderson was born in Liberty County on September 29, 1929 to the parentage of the late Benjamin Anderson and the late Lucinda Anderson. He is one of nine siblings.
Uncle Lundy, as he was called by all, who knew him, was educated in the Dorchester County Public School System. He graduated from Dorchester High School in Midway, GA. Ludlow worked at Morgan commercial fish company for many years and Singleton Seafood as a Forman. Ludlow was a member of Sunbury Baptist Church joining at an early age and was a faithful usher until his health started failing.
Ludlow Anderson was called home to be with our heavenly Father on Tuesday, July 10, 2024 at his home in Sunbury, Georgia. He leaves to cherish his memory one daughter: Tammy Smith of South Carolina. He raised as his own Monica Thompson and Travis Thompson; one sister: Harriett (Albert) Greene; four brothers, whom preceded him in death, Albert Anderson, Benjamin Anderson Jr., Johnnie Anderson, and Prince Anderson, (deceased), four sisters three preceded him in death: Eletha Osborne, Georgia Stevens, and Annie Belle Stevens; a faithful and dedicated caregiver and special niece: Alice Quarterman, two grand children and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and sorrowing friends.
