In Loving Memory of Linda Jean Clodfelter Schmidt

August 31, 1948 – October 6, 2026

Linda Jean Clodfelter Schmidt passed away on October 6, 2026.

She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Patrick Schmidt, and her parents, Lutie Clodfelter and Betty Hodgkins.

She is survived by her sons, Tracy Schmidt and his wife, Hillary, of Manhattan, Kansas, and Todd Schmidt and his wife, Michelle, of Allenhurst, Georgia; her grandchildren, Will Schmidt, Katlin Plue and husband, Aaron, Kyler Schmidt, Kiefer Schmidt, and Joshua Thomas; three great-grandchildren; her brother, Michael Clodfelter, and his wife, Kathy; and several nieces and nephews.

Linda spent most of her life in Manhattan, Kansas. She was outgoing and devoted to her family. She loved shopping, traveling, and going on cruises, but most of all, she treasured spending time with her family and making memories with the people she loved.

Linda will be deeply missed by her family and loved ones. The memories they shared and the love she gave will remain in their hearts.
