Elder Lewis Brown was born on April 17, 1942 in Midway, Georgia to Bishop Sam Brown and Mother Mary Brown. He was raised in a Christian household and attended church regularly.
During his childhood Lewis enjoyed hunting, digging wells, and carpentry with his father and brothers.
Upon graduating from high school Lewis moved to Brooklyn, New York. He later moved to California where he met and married Annetta Griffin. From their union three children were born, Lewis Brown Jr. (deceased), Shauntelle Brown, and Brian Brown. Their marriage lasted 58 years.
He was the founder and pastor of Lively Stone Apostolic Church in Oakland, California. Where many lives were transformed through his ministry.
Lewis worked for 30 years for the Federal Government. After retiring He and Annetta move to Savannah, Georgia. He became the pastor of Antioch Holiness Church, and served faithfully for 26 years.
Lewis leaves to cherish his memory, his wife First Lady Annetta Brown, daughter Shauntelle Brown, son Brian Brown, daughter in law Misa Brown, granddaughter Sheyanne Parker Brown, grandson Brian Brown Jr. three brothers; Elder Ulysee Brown, Deacon Phillip Brown, and Bishop Samuel Brown, two sisters; Mother Elizabeth Jackson, and Joyce Moody-Guyton and host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
