Leonise Futch, son of the late Clarence and Lucille Collins Futch, was born on October 26, 1941 in Ludowici, Georgia, and entered into eternal rest on Thursday October 13, 2022 at his home in Hinesville.

He graduated from Liberty County High School. He moved to Philadelphia, Pa where he attended Temple University's Opportunities Industrialization Center where he majored in Business. He retired from the SEPTA as a city bus driver for 36 years and owned a variety of retail and entertainment businesses.

Leonise lent his rich voice to the Good Shepherd Missionary Baptist Church quartet and later the 1st Cavalry Missionary Baptist quartet - The Men Of Integrity. He also enjoyed attending St. Steven Catholic Church with his wife Chi Chi.&

Leonise eloped with his beloved, Tonjoli "Chi Chi" Laveaux on Valentine's Day where they entered into Holy Matrimony in Jacksonville Florida in the presence of a few of their very best friends. He was a devoted and loving family man who always put the interest of others before his own. His personality and character were such that he was loved by all who knew him. The dedication and unconditional love for their 10 children was a wonder to behold. He passed peacefully from this life in the arms of his beloved wife.

He leaves to cherish his memory; his loving and devoted wife, "Chi Chi; their ten children; Gregory (Lisa), Shaun, Zaanan, Pauline (Robert), Jossette, Domonique, Rejanne, Rahiim, (Morena), Manuel (Rhona), Gluck (Jaidee), Pauline (Robert); their bountiful grandchildren, and great grandchildren; siblings - Larry, Daisy and Bernese; a host of cousins, nieces, nephews and friends.

He laughed, lived and loved the good life God gave to him.
