Leon McIntosh, Sr., 75, of West Hartford, CT, beloved husband of Pastor Marian D. McIntosh transitioned peacefully on Thursday, December 14, 2023, at UConn Hospital, Farmington, CT. Leon was born September 30, 1948, in Riceboro, GA, son of the late James, Sr. & Phyllis McIntosh.

Along with his beloved wife Marian, Leon leaves to cherish his memory, his children Leon D. McIntosh, Jr., LaTrease M. Williams, and son-in-law Christopher Williams. Grandchildren Gabrielle, Leon, III and Maya Babcock-McIntosh.

His siblings, James (Nettie) McIntosh, Jr.; Marva Jean Washington; Robert A. McIntosh; Vivian L. McIntosh; Sarah A. Telford; and Grace (Floyd) Cohens.&Spiritual daughters Linda Babcock, Angela Collins, and Lysette Drumgold; host of several nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.

Leon is preceded in death by his sister Rosemary Robinson, brother-in-law Jack Washington, Michael Telford, and sister-in-law Kathleen McIntosh.

Leon's family will receive family and friends on Thursday, December 28, 2023, from 11am-12pm followed by homegoing service at 12pm at St. John's Full Gospel Deliverance Church, 27 Brown Street, Bloomfield, CT where Apostle John E. Wilson pastors.

The interment will be held Saturday, January 6, 2024, at First Zion Baptist Church, Riceboro, GA.
