Obituary

Leoma T. Palmer was born on August 4, 1929 in East Spencer, NC.
&


She was a graduate of Wilson High School in Florence, SC. At an early age she became a member of Cumberland United Methodist Church in Florence, SC.


Mrs. Palmer was a manager for AAFES on FT. Bragg, NC. She was a faithful worker and retired from that position. After her retirement she later moved to Hinesville, Georgia.


Mrs. Palmer was a faithful and loyal member of Williams Chapel F.W.B Church in Spring Lake, NC. She was a member of the usher Board, Pastor's Aide Club, Ladies Aide Club and volunteer worker at a food warehouse in Fayetteville, NC.


She enjoyed bowling, fishing, sewing, knitting, care provider, canning, cake decorating, baking, gardening, flower planting, flower arrangements, music, roller skating, family and friends gatherings.


Mrs. Palmer loved to travel and entertain. She was a people person. She loved to help people in need.


She married Frank Floyd Palmer. She traveled to Japan, Germany, San Antonio Texas, Mexico, FT. Bragg, Pope AFB NC, New York, Richmond, VA, Danville, VA, Hampton, VA, Chicago, IL, New Jersey, Orlando, FL, Jacksonville, FL, Atlanta GA, Savannah, GA, and Hinesville, GA.


She was preceded in death by her husband Frank F. Palmer and her son Francis L. Palmer. Those left to cherish her memory include her daughters Cassie Reed of Hinesville, GA, and Tina Tillman of Danville, VA. Grandsons: David Reed (Felecia) of Fairburn, GA; Michael Reed of East Point, GA; Christopher Reed of East Point, GA. Granddaughter: Cassie Tillman of Martinsville, VA. Great Granddaughters: Autumn Reed and Ava Reed of Fairburn, GA,


Niece Theresa Telpher-Irvin. A host of brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law. A host of nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives, friends,neighbors, and acquaintances. (Close friends with the Sheffield and Stevens families.
