Mr. Lawrence Jones was born December 4, 1934 to the late Alonzo Jones and the late Lorena Lecounte Jones. He was a native of Liberty County, and was educated in the Liberty County School System. He departed this life on February 25, at home surrounded by love ones. He was proceeded in death by his daughter Angela Denise Jones King.

"Jr Boy", what he was known as by many, accepted Christ at an early age and joined The First African Baptist Church of Riceboro, Ga. He was joined in holy matrimony in 1958 to Rosa Lee Robinson Jones. In his free time, he enjoyed his family, riding his 4-wheeler, and watching Westerns.

He leaves to cherish his memories his loving wife Rosa Lee Robinson Jones, his daughter Pamela Jones of Brunswick, Ga, Three sons: Leroy Brown of Riceboro, Ga, John (Kim) Robinson of Brunswick, Ga, and Lawrence (Mary Tess) Jones III of Navarre Beach, FL. 15 Grandchildern, 15 Great Grandchildren, and 2 Great Great Grandchildren. One brother-in-law Porter (Sandra) Robinson of Brunswick, Ga.& A special cousin Randolph Jones and a devoted daughter in law Elspeth Brown. Also a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
