Ms. Laverta Armfield was born March 20, 1956 to Mrs. Johnnie Mae Williams- Walthour and the late Mr. Levi Walthour Sr. She received her General Education
Degree in Hinesville, GA where she also resided most of her life. She devoted 20+ years to the Gift Wrap Co. of Midway, GA. She was preceded in death by her father;
Levi Walthour Sr., her sister; Rev. Rose Brown, her brothers; Ernie Walthour Sr. and John Dennis Walthour.

Early Sunday morning, May 3, 2026, after fighting sickness with all her strength, Laverta was called to receive her Heavenly Wings.

She leaves behind to cherish her memories a loving mother, Mrs. Johnnie Mae Walthour; a special friend, Lester Moragne; a God-daughter, Charlene Lumpkin-
Johnson; brother, Darrell Walthour and Levi Walthour Jr.; sisters, Virginia Johnson, Theresa (Anthony) Lingard, Lavonia (Malcolm) LeCounte; and a host of nieces,
nephews and cousins
