Lauren Frances (Lennon) Smith, 68, was born in Panama Canal Zone, Panama to Ernest A.

Lennon Sr. and Laura M. Lennon. Even though she grew up in a military family, Midway, GA is where she considered home. She received her education in the Liberty County area, and graduated from Bradwell Institution in 1976. She worked as CMAS until her passing.

She leaves behind her daughter Shevonda Porter, brother Ernest A Lennon Jr. Two grandchildren Ramiyah Colvin and Theodore Porter. A foster brother Ryan Mariel, and two special sisters Dorothy Lewis and Cynthia Granger, along with a host of family and friends.

Her funeral will be held at the Dorchester Funeral Home on Monday the June 9, 2025
Viewing will be from 12:00pm-1:00 pm
