Stewart
March 3, 1981 – February 27, 2025
Kyaun Stewart, a beloved son, brother, uncle, cousin, and friend, passed away peacefully surrounded by family on February 27, 2025. His life was defined by joy, love, and an unwavering ability to brighten the lives of everyone around him. With a heart full of laughter and a spirit that radiated warmth, Kyaun left a lasting impact on all who had the privilege of knowing him. Born on March 3, 1981, Kyaun grew up in Hinesville, GA, and graduated from Liberty County High School in 2002. He was recognized for his achievements in the Special Olympics. Kyaun worked at the Liberty County Training Center for several years. He enjoyed playing outside, drawing, music, video games, and his favorite hobby, bowling. Kyaun was preceded in death by his father, Willie Barrett, and his brother, Britt Stewart. He is survived by his devoted mother, Diane Stewart; his siblings, Chevas Stewart, Megan Stewart, and Brice Stewart; his cherished niece, Vanessa Diana Stewart all of Hinesville; five aunts, Patricia Mitchell of Savannah, Jeanette Hodnett (William) of Hinesville, Sheila Stewart (Gary), Bernadette Stewart and Georgia Mae Stewart, all
of Atlanta; two uncles, Anthony Stewart of Brunswick and Michael Stewart of Riceboro; one grand-aunt, Ruth Richardson of Riceboro; and a host of other family and friends. Though his time with us was far too short, Kyaun's light will continue to shine in the hearts of all who knew him.
