Obituary

It is with heavy hearts and profound sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved Keontae, affectionately known as Tae, who departed this world on January 13, 2025. Born on July 24, 2003, at Winn Army Hospital in Ft. Stewart, Georgia, Tae was a cherished soul whose kindness, selflessness, and compassion touched everyone who knew him.

Tae was well-known across Liberty County and surrounding areas, where he grew up playing sports and excelling in athletics. From childhood through his high school years, Tae's exceptional talent earned him numerous trophies and accolades for his outstanding sportsmanship. His love for sports and dedication to excellence opened doors for him to attend Liberty County High School, where he graduated in 2017 and signed to play basketball for Belmont Abbey College in North Carolina and Bryant &; Stratton College in West Virginia.

Not only was Tae a gifted athlete, but he was also a driven entrepreneur. He established his own successful business, Tae's Landscaping Service, where his hard work and determination reflected his commitment to building a legacy. Above all else, Tae was a devoted father to his precious daughter, Amoura, who held the most sacred place in his heart. She was his greatest treasure and the center of his world, a bond unbreakable and unmatched. Alongside his love for Amoura, he shared a beautiful and meaningful connection with his baby sister Destiny Grider, a relationship filled with care and love that he held close.

Tae's life is a testament that it is never too late to do the right thing. His radiant smile, infectious laughter, and unwavering generosity left an indelible mark on everyone he met. His journey through life was marked by purpose, passion, and an enduring commitment to love and growth.
