Mrs.&Joyce Varnedoe Wilds, daughter of the late Melvin Robertson, Sr. and the late Ophelia Varnedoe Clark,was born on March 7, 1943 in Midway, GA.Mrs. Wilds passed away peacefully at her home surrounded by her family on October 23, 2022.She was educated in the Liberty County Public School system.She retired as an Instructor from the Liberty CountyAssociation ofRetarded Citizens.
Mrs. Wilds is survived by her children: Sharon (Anthony) Alvin;Karen (Oscar) Henderson;Patricia Daniels;Glenda (Ulysses) Roberts;Cleveland (LaRue) Wilds. Her surviving grandchildren include: ChristopherMorrison;Dominique Daniels;Cody Wilds;Ethan (Amaya) Wilds;Darien Wilds;Logan Wilds.
Her surviving siblingsinclude:MelvinRobertson, Jr.;Billy Robertson;Roy (Bobbie Jean) Robertson;Pearl Robertson;BenjaminRobertson;John Robertson;Frances Robertson;Fred (Grace) Robertson;Carl Robertson;CraigRobertson;Frank Robertson;Jannie Robertson;Tara (Anthony) Robertson;Carolyn (Randy) Melbourne; Denise Madison.
Mrs. Wilds is survived by a very special and loving step mother, Mrs. Julia Mae Robertson.
Special aunts and uncles are: George Varnedoe, Sr.; Ozetta Jackson; Earline Martin; Mabel Ellison; Sammie Joe Varnedoe; Clarence Varnedoe; Gail Varnedoe. Special sister-in-laws are: Helen Wilds; Shirley Williams and Carolyn Edmondson.
Mrs. Wilds is survived by a host of nieces, nephews,relatives and friends.
