John Barnard, aged 66, passed away on February 17, 2024, at Memorial Hospital in Savannah, Georgia. He was a beloved father, husband, and friend who will be deeply missed by all who knew him. John was born in Hinesville, but he spent his formative years in Gumbranch. He went on to attend High School at Bradwell Institute and later became an Owner/Operator truck driver. Throughout his career, he was known for working hard, dedication, and passion for helping others.

But more than anything, John was a devoted father. He loved his children and grandchildren very much. He was always there to offer guidance, support, and encouragement, no matter what challenges they faced. In his free time, John enjoyed watching tv, working on car projects here and there, spending time with friends and family, and was cool and calm to share his knowledge and wisdom with others.

John is survived by his wife, Julie Barnard, his children, Brittany (Barnard) Southworth, John Barnard, Jarelle Barnard, Jermiah Barnard and his grandchildren, Jayden Barnard (JD), Jamarious Barnard (JJ), and Ayisha Barnard. His memory will be cherished by all who knew him.
