Jeremiah Demetrius
Ratcliff
March 3, 2006 – August 26, 2025
On March 3, 2006, Jeremiah Demetrius Ratcliff was born in Gardena, California, to Cheri Ratcliff and Levy Jenkins. On August 26, 2025, Jeremiah was called home.
As the child of a military family, Jeremiah lived in many cities across the United States before the family eventually settled in Columbus, Georgia, where he began his educational journey. During his adolescence, he explored sports such as softball, soccer, basketball, and football, but none truly captured his interest. His true passion emerged in middle school when he discovered the violin, a talent that quickly set him apart.
In high school, Jeremiah further nurtured his musical gifts as a member of the Mighty Marching Cherokee Band, where he expanded his skills to include the piano, drums, and clarinet. Beyond music, he developed a love for art and graphic design, fueling his dream of one day becoming both a music producer and a video game designer. A gifted writer and lyricist, Jeremiah possessed a rare ability to transform beats and sounds into moving works of art. His creativity and determination ultimately led him to establish his own record label, The Rabbit Hole Beats, LLC after he graduated from Liberty County High School with his diploma in 2024.
Jeremiah will be remembered for his radiant smile, joyful laughter, and the warmth he brought to every room. Though small in stature, his vibrant, fun-loving spirit left a big impact on everyone he met.
Jeremiah is preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Rose Marie Mielke and Theodore Ratcliff; his paternal grandmother, Brenda Lee Dixon Roberts; and his brother, King Mar'Kaye Jenkins.
He is survived by his parents, Cheri (D. Ray II) and Levy (Tiffany); his maternal sisters, Cheyenne and Faith; his paternal brothers and sisters, Leasijah, Levyon, Camren, Jaquail, Levy III, Keshon, Myron, Raven, Jahair, Janiyah, and Le'Mala; and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, relatives, and friends who will forever cherish his memory. A special thanks is extended to his bonus father, Danny Lee Patton Jr., who played a foundational role in Jeremiah's life and upbringing.
