Jannie was born on November 29,1930 in Liberty County Georgia to the late William Brown and Gertie Powell. Jannie was the eldest of eight children.

Jannie was a native ofRiceboro, Georgia and was educated in the public schools of Liberty County.


She was a faithfuland dedicatedmember ofRiceboroChurch of God.She served as anUsherunderthe leadership ofher formerPastorRichard Sheffieldandpresent PastorReginal Anderson.


A Time to Love andLive


Later,Jannie met and married the love of her life, Samuel Lee WynnSr.(AKA Buster)and they were joined in holy matrimony onDecember 25,1949.And to this Union were born nine children. Jannie was a caring mother, grandmother,great grandmother, great- great grandmotherandfriend. She was a great cook that loved to garden and fish. Jannie could spend hours at the fish creek, then rush home back home to watch her daily soap operas. Jannie always made sure she kept herself busy and active every day and that was her secret to living a ripe old age of 92.

Mother Jannie lived for the day when she would see her loving Savior face to face.


OnMonday evening,June 12,2023, she slipped out of time into eternity.


Jannie was surrounded by her loving and devotedchildren.


Preceded her in death were her parentsWilliam Brown and Gertie Powell Brown,her beloved husband of (56)years,Samuel Lee Wynn Sr. Her son Samuel Lee Wynn Jr.her siblings:Benjamin Brown, Ethel Brown, James Brown, Francis Barnard, Italy Brown, and Thomas Walthour.


Jannie leaves to mourn and cherishherlovingmemoriesherchildren.
