Obituary

Janice Norine Wiley Lambert entered into this world on March 26, 1958 to the late National Gideon Wiley and the late Bessie Ellison Wiley. Janice entered eternal rest on Friday, September 9, 2022. She was preceded in death by siblings: Sarah Wiley, Allen Paul Wiley, Roosevelt Wiley, Olonda Wiley, and Kenneth Wiley. Janice was educated in the McIntosh County Schools. At an early age she joined Mount Calvary Baptist Church in Elonia, Georgia. Janice was united in Holy Matrimony to Bro. Albert A. Lambert on March 15, 2015. Together they enjoyed spending time with their grandchildren. Janice lived a life filled with love and care for those around her. She was a wife, sister, niece, aunt and friend to many. Janice was an amazing cook. She enjoyed family gatherings and cooking was her passion. She relished cooking whether it was for two or a large group. Her specialty was preparing delicious meals that included seafood. Janice leaves to cherish her loving memories: her husband Albert A. Lambert of Riceboro, GA; daughter: Sylvetrus Grant of Bolden, GA; sons: Roosevelt Williams of Hinesville, GA; Anthony Lambert, Virgil Lambert, and Raymond Lambert all of Riceboro, GA; sisters: Lillie (William) Paige of Cleveland, OH and Sandra (John) McIver of Crescent, GA; brother: Dennis Wiley of Pooler, GA; sisters-in-law: Leola (Henry) McKally of Miami, FL, Elaine Lambert and Yvonne Lambert both of Riceboro, GA; brotherin-law: Walter (Leola) Lambert of Riceboro, GA; uncles: Albert Roberts and Israel Lambert both of Miami, FL; aunts: Matilda Murfree of Bolden, GA; Velma Wiley of Ft. Myers, Berdie Stevens of Atlanta, GA, Ellen Paul of Miami, FL, Annie Ash and Sadie Roberts both of Riceboro, GA; 15 grandchildren; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, relatives and friends.
