Obituary

Our Sunshine, Jaiden Mariah Crowley was given to us on August 30, 2006 and she came in this world making her presence known. As a baby you could walk into the room and there she would be smiling and giggling, eyes just gleaming, always playful and full of life. On December 13, 2020 Jaiden read her little brother Cannan two bedtime stories and talked about Prom activities with her sister "Sleep well our Little Princess, until we meet again." Our Jaybird was loving, kind and giving and yet a bit shy. She was a beautiful young girl who cared deeply about everyone and always tried to help and give advice. She was an animal lover and believed that all animals needed her love and affection and wanted to become a Veterinarian. She was smart, and yes sometimes quirky and loved to laugh, giggle and dance. Her giggles would brighten anyone's day. Her conversations would sometimes go over our heads and we'd think wow, she's so right, I didn't even look at it that way, because when she spoke it was FACT. We would always say, "she's such a beautiful, gorgeous young girl that doesn't even have any idea how beautiful she is, but that was what made her so special, because Jay was just Jay. She was the child that you'd ask several times, I mean over and over, "what would you like for Christmas, what would you like for your birthday?" and she'd just shrug it off or forget, and you wouldn't get and answer until maybe the day before, because she forgot "no worries." Because, Jay wasn't about the trends, the I have to have it and what nots, she was about spreading love, our very own Sunshine Child. Jay was in the school chorus since elementary school, specialized in Taekwondo, was on her high school track team and could play a mean happy birthday on her keyboard. She loved to collect healing stones and knew the meaning behind all of them. She would take the time to enlighten us and spread warmth and knowledge. She was very astute and would take the time to share her knowledge and explain any and everything in detail to you. Jaiden was the oldest child of SSG Michael Anthony and Crystal LaSheik Crowley. She has a sister Journey Irelyn and a brother Cannan Kevin who misses and loves her dearly, a maternal grandmother (Gum) Cynthia Cisco of Midway, GA, her paternal grandparents (Poppy) Kevin and (Nana) Ann Marie Crowley of Manchester, NY, paternal great grandmother Adela Crowley and maternal great grandparents Bernard (Shirley) D'Arduini, three uncles Matthew (Katherine) Manchester, NY, Isaac (Bryanna) Jones of Bangor, PA. and Mark (Colleen) Manchester, NY. and a huge family of great aunts, great uncles and cousins. Her family mourns for her but knows that she is at peace and will shower them with continuous love as they keep her memory aglow. Acknowledgements We appreciate the outpouring of support from everyone since our Ray of Sunshine, Jaiden has left us. But we need to open their eyes and listen. Adolescent depression is an illness, bullying and life struggles is hard on those we love. Parents always talk with your children and children talk to those who love and care about you, you are not a burden, we love you and want to help. But we need you present to be able to help you.
