A Time to be Born:
Hattie Blanche Osborne was born on February 28th , 1942, to the late James Osborne, Sr. and the late Eletha "Julie" Anderson Osborne.
A Time to Die:
Hattie Blanche Osborne entered into eternal rest on September 22nd , 2025, at Hospice Savannah, Inc in Savannah, Georgia. She was preceded in death by her son Lewis Osborne, Sr. Also, by her four brothers, Henry Osborne, James Osborne, Sr., Eugene Osborne and Ezekiel Osborne. As well as three sisters, Eletha Mae Chipp, Evelyn O. Stevens and Clara Osborne Dudley.
A Time to Plant:
Hattie received her education at the original Liberty County High School in Midway, Georgia. She was a devoted member of Sunbury Missionary Baptist Church, where she faithfully served in the Senior Choir until her health no longer permitted. A woman of strong faith and dedication, Hattie gave her time and talents generously to her church and community.
Her professional journey reflected her hard work and commitment. She was first employed at the Days Inn of America in Richmond Hill, Georgia, where she worked for many years. She later became a valued member of the team at Ida Mae and Joe's in Midway, Georgia. When the opportunity arose, Hattie joined the Liberty County School System, where she faithfully served until her retirement.
A Time to Mourn:
She leaves to cherish her memories three daughters; Lucille Stevens (Deryll), Shirley Osborne (David) and Shanetra Osborne - Robertson (Jarrod); One brother, John Osborne, Sr. (Wilhelmenia); One sister, Beatrice O. White; Two sisters-in-law, Debbie Osborne of Wilmington, Delaware and Beverly Osborne of Bowie, Maryland; One aunt, Harriet A. Greene (Albert). Seven grandchildren, nine great grandchildren, one Godbrother Deacon Norman Harris, Sr. Three devoted nieces: Felicia Richardson of Sunbury, Ga, Johnett (Tasha) Osborne of Savannah, Ga. and
Ayesha Osborne of Key West, Fl. A Best Friend, Orlean Anderson of Midway, Ga., a special friendship of many years, Mr. Robert L. Martin of Savannah, Ga. (Pin Point) and a host of devoted nieces, nephews and other relatives that loved her dearly.
