GertrudeGolden, affectionally known as (Gi Gi), a native of Liberty County was born onJanuary 29, 1961,to the late Lewis Golden and Ruth Golden of Midway, Georgia.

Gertrude, (Gi Gi)attended the Liberty County School System and graduated from Bradwell Institute's Class of 1980.Later attendedTurner Job Corps Centerin Albany Georgia.She loved children and treated them with love and kindness.

Shewas a member ofTrinity Holiness Church, Midway GA under the leadership of Pastor Fannie Mae Jones.

OnSunday,April 7, 2024,GertrudeGolden(Gi Gi)departed this life andentered intoeternal rest.She was preceded in death by herparents Lewis and Ruth Golden,twobrothersMelvin B. QuartermanandRickeyGolden;one nieceLequesiaD.Uddyback, one great niece AmariUddyback. one great nephew Chris White Jr.

She leaves to mourn three brothers, Johnnie L.(Ida) Quarterman, Valdosta GA. Ervin (Connie) Golden, Lewis Golden Jr.,threesisters, Marie Golden, Midway GA, Lexs (Howard) Wright, Mt. Vernon Ga., Carrie Golden, Hinesville Ga., andher threeloving nephewsTyrone, Devon, Prince; and seven lovingnieces,Sharon, Tasha, Tramaine, Shavon, Abrianna, Kayla, Princess,anda host great nieces and nephews and a loving family/friend Linda Webb and Sister-in-Law Kathy; ahost ofextended family members, cousins and friends.
